Blowguns on Display
Previous    Next
Only a couple of feet in length, these blowguns were probably not at all useful as hunting weapons. But they made attractive and creative ways to get a little extra income, and with so little need to spend money, a little could go a long way. The thin shafts with tufts of feather or fiber on their ends are the darts. Seeing how light they are, it's easy to understand that they couldn't possibly bring down prey without the poison on their tips.
